Fiorentina are close in on the signing on Jonathan Ikonè, but Lille owe PSG 50% of the player’s sale.

The French starlet is on the verge of moving to the Stadio Artemio Franchi in the January transfer window.

He has two goals and two assists in 24 appearances across all competitions this season.

Both Fiorentina director Joe Barone and Lille President Olivier Létang have confirmed the Tuscans’ interest in the 23-year-old who joined the Ligue 1 champions in a €5m deal from PSG in 2018.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Lille owe PSG 50% of the player’s sale.

Talks between Fiorentina and Lille are at an advanced stage but according to the report, La Viola will make one last attempt to sign Domenico Berardi in the next few days, before finalising the signing of the France winger.

Sassuolo‘s asking price for Berardi is €30-40m, but Fiorentina have only put €15m on the table.

The Neroverdi are unlikely to accept such an offer, so Fiorentina could secure the signature of Ikoné for €15-20m.
