He is currently on loan with an option to buy for €70m and it’s reported PSG want to negotiate changes to that situation.

He is currently on loan with an option to buy for €70m and it’s reported PSG want to negotiate changes to that situation.

According to L’Equipe, the idea is to either extend the loan for another season, or to reduce the option to buy to around €50m.

The Ligue 1 champions already paid €13m for the one-season loan, so in theory that would take the overall cost down to €67m if it was to be repeated.

However, Inter want to get a cash sum for the 27-year-old, who is not part of their plans under Antonio Conte.

Juventus and Napoli have shown interest, but it’s reported Inter included a clause forcing PSG to pay an extra penalty if they purchased Icardi and immediately sold him to a different Serie A side.
