Lazio will be looking to maintain their momentum following an electric Europa League opener against Feyenoord as they host Hellas Verona this afternoon.

The match between the Biancocelesti and the Gialloblu kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio have had an interesting start to the season, showing signs of Sarrismo in exciting wins over Inter and Feyenoord but looking poor in a loss to Napoli and draws to Torino and Sampdoria. Maurizio Sarri’s side impressed earlier in the week and they’ll be hoping to carry that energy forward to this afternoon’s clash.

Hellas Verona’s campaign has kicked off a little more negatively, only picking up one win from their opening five fixtures. Victory tonight would help Gabriele Cioffi’s side gain a little confidence after a shaky start.

Danilo Cataldi has been ruled out for the Roman club due to a suspension following his frustration towards the officials in last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Napoli.

Davide Faraoni is in doubt for Verona due to a slight ankle issue, but he still seems set to feature regardless.

Probable line-ups for Lazio vs Hellas Verona

Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Lazzari, Patric, Romagnoli, Marusic; Milinkovic-Savic, Vecino, Basic; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni.

Hellas Verona (3-5-2): Montipo; Dawidowicz, Hien, Ceccherini; Faraoni, Lazovic, Veloso, Ilic, Doig; Lasagna, Henry.
