The Partenopei have a decimated defence, missing Kalidou Koulibaly, Kostas Manolas, Elseid Hysaj and Faouzi Ghoulam, as well as Diego Demme and Dries Mertens.

It means Nikola Maksimovic has to start with Amir Rrahmani, who has barely featured this season since his move from Hellas Verona.

Osimhen should get his first Serie A start since dislocating his shoulder in November, but the changes are in the support trio.

Piotr Zielinski is moved back into midfield, so Insigne should have an unusual more central role behind the striker, flanked by Matteo Politano and Hirving Lozano.

It’ll mean Insigne can’t rely on the usual movement of cutting inside from the left for a right-foot curler, but that might work to his favour, making the attacking approach less predictable.

Juventus have won all but one of their Serie A games in 2021 and reached the Coppa Italia Final this week, as well as beating Napoli 2-0 in the Supercoppa last month.

Arthur, Aaron Ramsey and Paulo Dybala have not made the trip, while Bonucci is still not 100 per cent fit with a muscular issue.

Giorgio Chiellini will therefore most likely partner Matthijs de Ligt, the captain making his 400th Serie A appearance.

Danilo could be rested, making Juve more of a four-man defence than the hybrid three that Andrea Pirlo tends to favour.

Weston McKennie and Federico Chiesa return to the flanks, with Alvaro Morata partnering Cristiano Ronaldo.

Juventus: Szczesny; Cuadrado, De Ligt, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; McKennie, Bentancur, Rabiot, Chiesa; Morata, Ronaldo
