Elsewhere, Lautaro Martinez should get the nod over Alexis Sanchez as Romelu Lukaku’s strike partner, despite the Chilean’s clinical display in the 6-0 victory over Brescia.
Victor Moses is ruled out with a thigh problem so Antonio Candreva will fill in at right wingback.
Bologna, for their part, may be tempted to play Barrow as a No 9, with most of his appearances so far coming out wide and Rodrigo Palacio scoring just once in his last 12 games.
However, Andreas Skov-Olsen, Federico Santander, Andrea Poli and Ibrahima Mbaye are all unavailable.
Inter (probable): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Bastoni; Candreva, Barella, Brozovic, Young; Eriksen; Lautaro, Lukaku
Bologna (probable): Skorupski; Tomiyasu, Danilo, Bani, Dijks; Soriano, Medel, Schouten; Orsolini, Barrow, Sansone
