Roma President James Pallotta is said to be increasingly unhappy with the start to the season, putting Coach Eusebio Di Francesco under pressure.

The Giallorossi blew a 2-0 lead at home to Chievo yesterday, and have won only once in their first four Serie A games.

According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, there is no immediate cause for alarm but Di Francesco will be kept “under observation” for the next round of matches: Real Madrid, Bologna, Frosinone and Lazio.

According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, there is no immediate cause for alarm but Di Francesco will be kept “under observation” for the next round of matches: Real Madrid, Bologna, Frosinone and Lazio.

The newspaper quotes sources from Boston saying that Pallotta is very much not impressed with the start to the season, not least because the squad has been in place since July 8.

Il Messaggero reports a similar line, stating that the owner will be forced to act if it looks as though Roma could miss out on the Champions League.
