However, speaking at a Press conference today, the tactician said he will not rotate his side during the tournament unless changes are forced upon him.

However, speaking at a Press conference today, the tactician said he will not rotate his side during the tournament unless changes are forced upon him.
“We can’t say we will do rotation, but we must think about seeing a team who can change game after game,” Prandelli told reporters.
“Yesterday we tried to find out whether Darmian can play on the left and he did well. If the players recover well, however, I would never change them.
“Physically we are well, we have no excuses, so we have turned the page.”
Prandelli then answered questions on the condition of Mario Balotelli, Salvatore Sirigu, Marco Verratti and Giorgio Chiellini.
He also remains convinced that Mattia Perin has a big future ahead of him in spite of his error last night against Fluminense, which led to a goal.
“Balotelli is feeling good, just like the rest of the team. He has a few small problems, but that’s fine. He is training twice a day.
“The blow he took yesterday? It’s not a problem.
“Sirigu is recovering. In two days’ time we will need to be at 100 per cent. Perin started yesterday but starting can give you cruel twists of fate. I am still convinced he will have a great future.
“Marco [Verratti] has fever today, yesterday was a little strange, it was probably brewing.
“For Giorgio however, I just took the opportunity to make other decisions.”
Finally, the Coach answered a question about Giovanni Trapattoni’s comments that the Italian national boss is like a man sentenced to death.
“I could make Trap’s idea my own, or say that the Coach is like someone sentenced to death who is just waiting to find out the time of his execution.
“Maybe, if he said it [and if it is true], he has died many times. But he has never died!”
