Cesare Prandelli confirms he “shook hands and I gave my word” to join Lazio, even though the club is interviewing other Coaches.
The former Italy, Fiorentina and Galatasaray boss agreed terms almost a month ago, but Lazio continue to be associated with other tacticians, above all Marcelo Bielsa and Frank de Boer.
“I met (Lazio President Claudio) Lotito, we shook hands and I gave my word,” Prandelli told news agency ANSA.

“I met (Lazio President Claudio) Lotito, we shook hands and I gave my word,” Prandelli told news agency ANSA.
“As far as I am concerned, we have a gentleman’s agreement, so I will wait before speaking to anyone else.”
Prandelli is being kept on ice as second or even third choice if Lazio fail to sign Bielsa.
