Born in Udine, the businessman bought the Zebrette in 1986, with the club becoming a Serie A mainstay under his tenure.
With the Pozzo family also owning English Premier League side Watford and Granada in Spain, it has been suggested that Udinese could be sold, but the owner has no intention of giving up control.
“I’ve never met anyone who has made a serious offer for the sale of the club,” Pozzo explained to Messaggero Veneto.
