Australia Coach Ange Postecoglou was proud of his team’s performance against Chile and said they deserved a draw.
The Socceroos fell two goals behind during a disastrous first 15 minutes of their World Cup Group B clash against the South Americans.
However, they showed guts to work their way back into the match and Tim Cahill’s goal gave them hope before Jean Beausejour added a third for Chile right at the death.
