An intermediary for Leandrinho confirms “Ponte Preta are willing to negotiate” with Napoli over the striker.
It was reported earlier today that the Brazilian was close to agreeing a deal with the Partenopei, and while it may not be that close his club are willing to talk.
“I’m not his agent, I can only talk about Ponte Preta who I work for,” Joao Santos said on Radio Crc.

“I’m waiting for news from Naples, so far they haven’t let me know anything. They must speak to Ponte Preta, but it’s possible they’re going ahead without speaking to me.
“I represent the Brazilian club, at the moment I haven’t heard anything. Ponte Preta are willing to negotiate, there still aren’t any finalised contracts.”
