Newell’s Old Boys striker Ezequiel Ponce has arrived in Italy for his medical with Roma.
His plane touched down at Fiumicino Airport this morning and he will reportedly be in the stands for the derby game with Lazio this afternoon.
Also tracked by Tottenham and Sampdoria, Ponce is believed to cost €5m for 60 per cent of his contract.
He’ll remain in loan with Newell’s Old Boys for one more year to gain experience, as he won’t turn 18 until March.
