Milan and Inter have qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals, so they can meet in the next round, but do you want to see the Milanese sides paired together in Friday’s draw?

Milan have qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in 11 years, beating Antonio Conte’s Tottenham in the Round of 16, while Inter had the better of Porto, progressing to the Final eight for the first time in 12 years.

This means Stefano Pioli and Simone Inzaghi can meet in the quarter-finals. The big debate in Italy on Wednesday morning is whether fans want to see the Milanese sides paired together in the next round.

Inter legend Beppe Bergomi has already had his say, claiming he wants a different opponent for the Nerazzurri.

Inter and Milan have already met three times this season, the Rossoneri won 3-2 in September but lost the Supercoppa Final 3-0 in January and 1-0 in Serie A in February.

Milan emerged victorious in the last two Champions League meetings with their city rivals: the 2002-03 semi-finals and the quarter-finals in 2004-05.

We’ve asked our Twitter followers whether they want to see a Derby della Madonnina in the next Champions League round and you can vote in the poll below.
