If Poli were to arrive in Turin, it would be at the expense of Sissoko who is being offered to clubs in Germany after losing his place as a regular at Juventus.

Marotta hopes to recoup at least €8m from his transfer and reinvest the proceeds back into the squad.

Tuttosport understands that Juventus hope to take advantage of the uncertainty at Sampdoria following the sacking of Marotta's replacement Sergio Gasparin.

The structure of any deal would likely take the form of a co-ownership arrangement.
