Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is being linked with a return to Juventus, but Tuttosport claims it all depends on Cristiano Ronaldo.

The newspaper claims a move for the France international is only an idea so far but could become a concrete option in the coming weeks.

It will depend on the transfer decisions of Manchester United and especially Ronaldo’s future, as reports in Italy claim the Portuguese superstar could leave the Old Lady after three seasons.

Old Trafford seems to be one of the few possible destinations for the former Real Madrid star, whilst Paris Saint-Germain is the other.

Ronaldo has not yet decided whether to leave or stay in Turin, as his deal with the Bianconeri expires in June 2022.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, he will soon inform Juventus about his decision, but new coach Massimiliano Allegri is open to selling him.

The Tuscan tactician was at Continassa yesterday to discuss the project at Juventus with the club’s directors and the parties are preparing for all the possibilities, including a possible move back to Manchester for Ronaldo.

In that case, Pogba would become much more than a dream, as the World Cup winner has only one year remaining on his deal with the Red Devils and Tuttosport believes he is willing to return to Turin.

The two clubs could agree on a swap deal between the two stars, but the newspaper claims Donny van de Beek is also an option for a swap deal with Man Utd.
