Italian champions Juventus are reportedly working on extending the contracts of Paul Pogba and Gigi Buffon.

The French youngster, still just 21, is set to be rewarded for his performances and loyalty with a new deal until 2018, with an option for 2019.

As part of that agreement, the former Manchester United man will see his wages rise from €1.5m a campaign to €4.5m.

Talks with agent Mino Raiola have already begun and an official announcement is not expected to be too far away.

Captain Buffon, meanwhile, is in the last year of his deal seeing as that is due to run out in June 2015.

However, despite his 36 years, it is understood that he could put pen to paper on a fresh two-year extension.

Buffon could then be handed a role within the club should he decide to retire in 2017.

It is also being claimed that once the Pogba and Buffon situations have been resolved, Juve will talk to Claudio Marchisio about his future.

The Italian midfielder’s contract is set to expire in June 2016.
