According to The Telegraph newspaper, Mauricio Pochettino is one of the candidates to take over at Juventus and Inter next season, as the title race hots up.

Antonio Conte’s Inter moved to within six points of leaders Juventus thanks to last night’s 4-0 win away to SPAL, putting the Scudetto back in contention.

Tuttosport warn Maurizio Sarri will be fired if he doesn’t win the Serie A title or lift the Champions League in his debut season.

Former Spurs manager Pochettino had already been a strong candidate for the job before it was handed to Sarri.

Inter are also an option, as Conte has irritated the Nerazzurri hierarchy with his public complaints at their transfer strategy, particularly around Christian Eriksen.

It would be interesting for Eriksen and Pochettino to be reunited at San Siro after their time together with Tottenham.
