Miralem Pjanic hopes to score his first goal in a Roma jersey against Novara tonight. “We're on the right track.”

The former Lyon midfielder completed his transfer over the summer and has been used in different roles, effectively replacing Francesco Totti during the captain's injury.

“I feel good both as a trequartista and in midfield. I am also happy to have already provided three assists,” he told Il Messaggero newspaper.

“The goal is close, but it will never be an obsession as far as I am concerned. I am more interested in Roma's results.

“We are on the right track and we new players have also settled in now. The whole squad will improve and start winning, hopefully from this evening in Novara.”
