Juve reclaimed top spot in Serie A on Wednesday while various officials came under fire in many of the Week 10 fixtures.

The AIA responded by dropping both Piero Giacomelli and Massimiliano Irrati this weekend, but Pjanic is tired of clubs complaining about dodgy calls.

“You never lose because of a referee,” the Bosnian continued in his interview with Tuttosport. “That’s just an alibi.”

The Bianconeri, for their part, beat a Genoa side reduced to 10 men with an injury-time penalty, which some felt was soft…

“When you leave the pitch after a defeat, you are very angry and might say a lot.

“But to blame someone else is the easiest road to take. Referees will make mistakes in the same way as we do. Today, VAR is helping both referees and the people.

“At this point, I’m not paying attention to the comments anymore.”
