Juventus’ Marko Pjaca could form an attacking trident with Giovanni Simeone and Federico Chiesa if he gets his reported wish to join Fiorentina.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Pjaca has rejected the chance to join Valencia as part of the deal that takes Joao Cancelo to Juve.

This would be because the winger ‘wants to relaunch his career’ at Fiorentina, whose Coach Stefano Pioli ‘appreciates him’ in return and ‘sees him well’ in a front three with Simeone and Chiesa.

The newspaper notes the 23-year-old could head to the Viola on loan with an option to buy and a counter-option for the Bianconeri.

Pjaca struggled to make an impact at Schalke during the second half of last season, making just seven Bundesliga appearances, although he is part of the Croatia team who have reached the World Cup knockout stages.
