The representative of David Pizarro is continuing his search for a club who are interested in the Fiorentina playmaker.

The Chilean international still has a year left on his Viola deal, but he wants to quit Tuscany just 12 months after his arrival.

“David’s idea is to leave Fiorentina,” Alejandro Santisteban told Radio Bio Bio. “He wants an important challenge and I’m working on finding him that.

“He wants a top European club, a five-star outfit, but there have been no negotiations up until this point in time.

“But we will remain calm seeing as we have until August 31.”

Pizarro, 33, joined the club from Roma last summer after a brief loan spell in England with Manchester City.

In 29 League games for Fiorentina, Pizarro scored three goals as the outfit just missed out on qualification for the Champions League.
