Fiorentina Coach Stefano Pioli admits it will be “emotional to make my debut at San Siro” against Inter, the side that fired him.
The 2017-18 Serie A fixture list was drawn up today with the opening round seeing Inter up against Fiorentina.
“Our match will certainly be the most important of the opening weekend,” Pioli told Viola Channel.

“Meeting such an important side as Inter is exciting. It’ll be emotional for me to make my debut in this season at San Siro, but we’ll try to ensure that we are ready for the start of this campaign.
“I am curious to see how Italian football and the fans will react to the novelties, for example playing over the Christmas holidays.
“We hope to have many people at the Stadio Franchi on December 30.”
The Tuscans will host Milan in Week 19.
