Strikers continue to circulate around Serie A, as Federico Bonazzoli is heading back to Salernitana from Sampdoria, while Sassuolo are the favourites for Inter’s Andrea Pinamonti.

The imminent move seeing Gianluca Scamacca join West Ham United for €36m plus €6m bonuses and a 10 per cent sell-on fee will have a domino effect on the rest of the transfer market.

According to La Repubblica, Sassuolo intend to replace Scamacca with another young Italian centre-forward, Pinamonti.

He is owned by Inter and spent last season on loan with Empoli, while he has also been linked with Atalanta.

The offer on the table is believed to be €15m plus a buy-back option for Inter, but the Nerazzurri want closer to €18m for the 23-year-old.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia report that Bonazzoli is on the verge of making his move to Salernitana permanent, having already impressed there on loan from Sampdoria last season.

The cost of the operation is going to be circa €4.5m and he should have his medical at the start of next week.
