Krzysztof Piatek is reportedly ‘very close’ to Milan as Leonardo is staying in Italy to close a deal with Genoa.

According to Sport Mediaset, Milan chiefs Paolo Scaroni, Ivan Gazidis and Paolo Maldini are representing the club in Saudi Arabia, where they will also discuss Gonzalo Higuain’s future.

The broadcaster explains Genoa owner Enrico Preziosi has been convinced by the Rossoneri’s offer of ‘a costly loan with an obligation to buy for around €40m’.
