The former Spal striker picked up a knock at his ankle against Fiorentina on Sunday, but his physical conditions are not a matter of concern for the Azzurri, according to the report.

“Next up for the Azzurri is the Italian Super Cup against Juventus at Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia. Kick-off is 21:00 CET on Wednesday,” the Partenopei wrote in an official statement after today’s training.

“The squad was split into two groups for today's session. Those who started the game against Fiorentina did recovery work in the gym.

“The rest of the squad began with rondos and drills on technique, then played a training match and finished off with shooting practice.

“Meanwhile Andrea Petagna had physio and worked in the gym.”
