Pescara have bolstered their ranks with the double acquisition of Lucas Chiaretti and Alessandro Crescenzi.

The newly-promoted club brought in former Manchester City midfielder Vladimir Weiss yesterday and have followed that up with the arrivals of youngsters Chiaretti and Crescenzi.

Chiaretti is a 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder who spent last term with Taranto in Serie B but reportedly caught Coach Giovanni Stroppa’s eye. With his Taranto contract expiring this summer, Chiaretti arrives at Pescara on a free transfer.

Crescenzi also has no top-flight experience but has represented Italy’s Under-21 side on 19 occasions. The 20-year-old has signed a season-long loan deal from Roma.

Pescara have picked up activity in the transfer market of late, bringing in Elvis Abbruscato, Uros Cosic, Birkir Bjarnason, Mervan Celik and Juan Fernando Quintero.
