Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani says the club will do all it can to keep Juventus target Marco Verratti.

The Old Lady are leading the race for the midfielder, even if the likes of Napoli, Roma and Inter are also keen.

“We are not a big club, but we’ll do our best to make sure that he remains,” Sebastiani told Diretta Stadio when asked about the 19-year-old.

Pescara sporting director Daniele Delli Carri recently revealed that Juve had only bid €8m for the Italian against the €12m they want.

However, Pescara boss Zdenek Zeman, who has masterminded the Serie B club’s promotion, values Verratti at €15m.

“We agree with the Coach, but it is the club who decide these things,” Sebastiani continued. “Zeman’s was an innocent statement, but one which underlined the boy’s value to us this season.”

Verratti is currently on international duty with Italy after he was named in Cesare Prandelli’s initial 32-man squad for Euro 2012.
