“I’ll tell you the truth – when there’s a transfer market I turn off my phone and wait for something concrete because otherwise you’ll go mad,” he told Voce Giallorossa.
“I hope Totti renews, he’s really important for us and is the emblem of this team and this city. I want keep playing with him.
“Would finishing third and in the Champions League last 16 make a positive season? I think so, even though a team like this must think about winning some titles and we hope to win next year.
“One word to describe Spalletti? Character. He’s a man of great character and intensity. Maybe intensity is the right word actually.
“A word for Sabatini? Calmness. I’ve spoken with him a few times and he gave me this impression.
“A word for Totti? There are so many, he’s the best.”
