“In football, you can never say never,” Perisic told Kicker, when asked whether he’d be leaving.
“I’m not saying that’s what I want, I can only assure you that at the moment I’m 100 per cent focused on Wolfsburg.
“If the club wants me to stay, I’ll stay. If not, I’ll leave. I just want to find the best solution for both myself and the club.
“A contract renewal? I’m happy here, if it’s a good offer then I don’t see why I wouldn’t accept it.”
