Genoa Coach Davide Ballardini insists goalkeeper Mattia Perin will only leave if a ‘huge’ club come in for him.
The Italy international has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus of late and missed his side’s match at Benevento yesterday.
However, his boss claims the 25-year-old remains a key part of the Griffone’s plans moving forward.
“Perin? We will say goodbye to him if a huge club comes in,” Ballardini told Radio Nostalgia.
“Otherwise, he is a crucial player for Genoa.”

The Rossoblu tactician was disappointed by his team’s defeat but took positives from the performance and return to form and fitness of Giuseppe Rossi.
“It’s a shame that we lost, especially given what we created.
“We are happy with the performance and that Rossi is really improving.”
