“The defeat to Parma was a heavy blow, but we are in good shape and ready to play here,” Perez told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s true we have a 3-0 result to defend from the first leg, but we come here eager to take the initiative, score goals and win the game.”
Perez has been given a rare start and is looking for his first goal of the season.
“I have been playing really well for the last month, I know that I can give more and had been hoping for a while to be in the starting XI. Now it’s up to me to make the most of the opportunity.”
