Lorenzo Pellegrini acknowledges Barcelona are favourites in their Champions League Quarter-Final, but Roma "don’t go there as a beaten team”.

The Giallorossi will be at Camp Nou next week for the first leg of the tie, where Barcelona haven’t lost since the Spanish Super Cup last August.

“The Catalans are favourites, we know that,” Pellegrini admitted, speaking to Sky.

“The ball is round though. We go there with the awareness that they’re strong, but we’ll try to cause them problems.

“I really like [Sergio] Busquets in midfield, he’s amazing. I don’t know if he’ll be playing though, because he has an injury.

“If he isn’t there we wouldn’t mind too much, but I like him very much as a player.”

Pellegrini has been linked with a move away, with Juventus said to be interested.

“It’s normal that a player likes when his name is linked to big clubs, but I’m already at a big club. An ambitious one, with a project.

“I’ll try to do my best for Roma, then we’ll see about everything else.”
