There are reports Roma will be without Lorenzo Pellegrini for tonight’s trip to Torino, as he has come down with flu symptoms, so Gini Wijnaldum could be pushed further forward.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino at 17.30 UK time (16.30 GMT).

The Giallorossi know a victory would allow them to leapfrog both Inter and Milan into third place.

While Rick Karsdorp is the only remaining injury absentee, Jose Mourinho might have to do without captain Pellegrini.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Italy international woke up with flu symptoms and is unlikely to feature in the starting XI.

With that in mind, we could see Wijnaldum pushed into a more advanced position alongside Paulo Dybala in support of centre-forward Andrea Belotti, who seems to be preferred to Tammy Abraham against his old club, with Nemanja Matic in midfield.

After last week’s emergency situation against Sampdoria, Roma return to a three-man defence.

Probable line-ups

Torino: Milinkovic-Savic; Gravillon, Schuurs, Buongiorno; Singo, Ricci, Linetty, Rodriguez; Vlasic, Radonjic; Sanabria

Roma: Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Zalewski, Cristante, Matic, Spinazzola; Dybala, Wijnaldum; Belotti
