Napoli assistant manager Fabio Pecchia insists they are “still targeting second place and not thinking about the Coppa Italia.”

The Partenopei lost 1-0 to Parma at the weekend and dropped 12 points behind Roma in the Serie A standings.

“We are in good shape physically and will face this final stage of the season in the best way possible. We are still targeting second place,” Rafa Benitez’s assistant manager told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Napoli still have the chance to pick up silverware, as they will face Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia Final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on May 3.

“Now we are not thinking about the Coppa Italia Final, but only the game against Lazio. We want to win with a top level performance.

“It has been a great campaign. Of course there are regrets in the League, but in Europe we earned less than we deserved.”
