Milan were crushed 4-2 by Roma, but Adriano Galliani confirms he’s flying to Brazil for negotiations after Robinho and Alexandre Pato “asked to leave.”

It is widely believed Robinho has €8m offers from Flamengo and Fluminense, while Pato is wanted by Corinthians at €15m.

“My trip to Brazil has been planned for months. It will be all work and no vacation, as there are two negotiations in progress.

“Pato and Robinho asked to leave Milan. I already know what could happen in case they do go.”

The tension is high going into the Christmas break, as a run of four consecutive victories came screeching to a halt at the Stadio Olimpico last night.

“It’s a shame, as we made many mistakes, but also created plenty of chances,” said Vice-President Galliani on the official club website.

“There were a few too many errors in defence and we really have to work on set plays. We’ve conceded 14 from dead ball situations and that is a statistic we must reflect on.”

The result left the Rossoneri in seventh place, nine points adrift of Lazio” data-scaytid=”23″>Lazio in second and 17 off leaders Juventus” data-scaytid=”24″>Juventus.

“We are looking at second position more than third,” insisted Galliani. “With a win here we could’ve closed the gap. I still mourn the points we dropped at home to Atalanta” data-scaytid=”27″>Atalanta and Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”28″>Sampdoria.

“Oh well, let’s look on the bright side. We have a team that plays good football, has good players and can bring talent off the bench too. It’s a shame we’re paying for that bad start to the season.”
