The 28-year-old has made just 18 Ligue 1 appearances for the French side this season and has been left out of the matchday squad altogether in recent weeks.

Speaking to Spanish outlet Onda Cero, the attacking midfielder added he does not know what his next move will be.

“I am realising that my experience in Paris is coming to an end,” Pastore explained.

“We will see what happens in the future. I still have one year of contract, I don’t have any clear idea.

“I don’t know how things will go in the end, I will remain focused for the rest of the season in order to finish well and win all the trophies possible.

“Spain is definitely an option, for the language and the style of play.”

The Nerazzurri are long-term admirers of Pastore, with the Argentine revealing he almost signed for them in 2011.

“Leonardo wanted me in nerazzurro. We spoke after the Coppa Italia final in 2011.

“But then he became director at PSG and he took me to France.”
