Javier Pastore believes it's time for Palermo to get back to winning ways after five straight defeats in Serie A.

The Rosanero are in freefall and Serse Cosmi's appointment hasn't changed anything at the Renzo Barbera.

"We hope to soon return to the Palermo of before," Pastore told Sky Italia.

Looking ahead to this Saturday's match against Milan, he said: "They are a very strong team. They have great champions who are known throughout the world. We'll do our best to beat them.

"Alexandre Pato is the footballer who I admire the most. He is my age and can become one of the greats. I remember my first game against Milan with pleasure: it was a win at the Barbera.

"We are playing in a different way with respect to last year. Before we almost never lost at home, this year instead it has happened too many times."
