The Giallorossi flattened Frosinone 4-0 and regained some confidence ahead of Saturday’s Derby della Capitale against Lazio.

Coach Eusebio Di Francesco changed to a 4-2-3-1 formation and Il Flaco is relishing the new role.

“I do feel more at ease in the trequartista position, as I managed to get a lot of touches between the lines to set up the strikers. That is my role,” Pastore told DAZN.

He scored his second back-heel flick goal of the season, this time from further out and on a Davide Santon cross.

“After so many not very positive results, we needed to play with determination and concentration to get back to winning ways.

“We want to win the derby and we’ll do everything we can do win it. I know this is a match that counts for a great deal in Rome.”
