Pietro Leonardi says that Parma are not focused this week on Marco Parolo’s prospective move to Lazio.

The Italy international has been increasingly linked with a move to the Aquile this summer with reports indicating that the player will meet with his management team this week to ratify a reported four-year contract offer paying an initial €1.1m in salary.

However, talks between the clubs will not be held this week, according to the Ducali’s sporting director.

“On Parolo to Lazio at this time there will be no news,” Leonardi has told Radio Mana Sport today.

“This week Parma are committed to resolving the various issues related to co-ownership.

“The rest comes later, including Parolo.”

Clubs have until 7pm Italian time on Friday to resolve co-ownership deals or risk going to blind auction for players.
