Pietro Leonardi has determined that Parma will ‘try until the end’ to achieve qualification into the Europa League.

A club record 17-game unbeaten run had put the Ducali in prime contention to achieve this, but consecutive defeats to Juventus” data-scaytid=”5″>Juventus, Lazio” data-scaytid=”6″>Lazio and Roma has somewhat halted progress.

However, the club’s sporting director has made clear this week that it has not dampened spirits or determination.

“Parma at this point want to get into the Europa League. We want to go with all our strength,” Leonardi told Parma’s in house Press services this week.

“We will try until the end of the season and I think that after the disappointment of [Wednesday, against Roma] and last weekend [against Lazio], there is more light and next Sunday in our latest game it will be a tour de force, in which we also won’t have the possibility to interchange our players.

“We ask everyone to support us in a game that may be important, but we have confidence that we can get a result and from there, together with the people of Parma, we will try until the end to get into Europe.”
