Second half goals by Marco Marchionni and Amauri gave Parma a 2-0 friendly win over Salernitana.

In what was Roberto Donadoni’s team’s fifth pre-season game, the Gialloblu were never seriously threatened by the Campania outfit, who play in Lega Pro.

That being said, the team who finished sixth in last season’s Serie A had to wait until after the hour mark to open the scoring.

Donadoni made 11 half time substitutions as Parma took advantage of a tiring Salernitana side in the second half. After Marchionni netted the first, fellow veteran Amauri made the game safe with less than 10 minutes remaining.

All in all, it was a good work out for the Crociati, who will now prepare to take on English Premier League side Aston Villa in their next friendly this weekend.
