Juve’s second goal scored by Andrea Pirlo was awarded by the new extra officials behind the goal, who ruled it had crossed the line.
“We will not stir up any controversy over this and hope everyone behaves like us this season,” general manager Pietro Leonardi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“However, I ask myself how a linesman cannot see such a clear offside by Lichtsteiner and yet the other official has not a single doubt with regards to Pirlo’s goal?
“Aside from the incidents, what I cannot accept is that Parma had six yellow cards. I don’t think our team played in a particularly rough way.”
