Parma transfer chief Pietro Leonardi has ruled out a bid for Antonio Cassano, while insisting that Alberto Paloschi will remain.
Cassano is expected to be sold in January – now probably to Milan – after a falling out with Doria chief Riccardo Garrone, who then unsuccessfully attempted to have his contract rescinded.
Although the player will be reintegrated into the Sampdoria squad after Christmas, he isn't likely to end the campaign at Marassi.

Parma have been associated with a short-term deal for the enigma, but that suggestion has been shot down.
"This Cassano story is a joke," the club's director general Leonardi noted.
After rubbishing that rumour, the official also dismissed claims that Under-21 international Paloschi was heading to Milan.
"I can exclude his departure," he continued. "I have had no contact in any form with Milan. I just hope Paloschi becomes of use to us again [after injury]."
The Rossoneri, who own a 50 per cent share in the player, are looking for a striker who could replace the injured Pippo Inzaghi for the rest of the campaign.
Leonardi also admitted that Chelsea attacker Fabio Borini is a player who he is monitoring.
