The Gialloblu have surpassed all expectations to lie in 6th place in Serie A, a position that would see them qualify for Europe should they maintain it.
“We are on track for the Europa League,” Ghirardi said to Mediaset. “Let’s hope we get there because we have had a great season.
“We have broken club records for consecutive wins, away wins and consecutive games without defeat.
“I now want to create a sustainable project and a club that can finance itself rather than depend on investors.
“The sports centre we have built is definitely our pride and joy of this project.
“Having the sports centre is very important. The boys always eat together there with the staff and the young players are always there too.
“We have created a winning group and we are like a big family.”
