“As we always said, we take it one game at a time, there are hidden dangers for everyone and not just us,” Paratici told DAZN.

He was asked how Pirlo is reacting to the novelty of an injury crisis and struggle for results on the Juventus bench at the moment.

“Everything is new to Pirlo, as this is his first year coaching. He is someone who brings a great sense of calm and at the same time also fires everyone up.

“We go forward with great conviction and trust in our capabilities.”

Dybala is still out with a knee ligament issue that is dragging on, and he flew to Barcelona to visit knee specialist Professor Ramon Cugat this week.

“Dybala was visited by specialists in Barcelona and Innsbruck, in fact the response was less negative than we expected. Now we’ll see how the situation progresses.”
