Juventus director Fabio Paratici hinted at a last-minute swoop for Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa. ‘We have to be creative on the transfer market.’

There are reports from Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and La Gazzetta dello Sport that the Viola are prepared to accept a €10m loan with obligation to buy for a further €50m, spread out over four years.

“Juve are always alert on what is happening on the transfer market, whether it’s for Chiesa or any other player,” Paratici told Sky Sport Italia.

“Juve are always alert on what is happening on the transfer market, whether it’s for Chiesa or any other player,” Paratici told Sky Sport Italia.

“This is our credo. We have to be creative on the transfer market, especially at this moment when it’s quite difficult to get deals done otherwise.”

The Bianconeri are among those hardest hit by the pandemic and have had to tighten their belts this season, including early terminations for high earners like Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi.
