Juventus CFO Fabio Paratici says Inter deserved to win the Serie A title and congratulates the Old Lady’s former boss Antonio Conte.

“We congratulate Inter and Antonio. We know that behind every success there is passion, love for the game, sacrifice, so we know how much of a struggle it is to win, how much we struggled to stay top I think I read today over 3,000 days,” the Juventus director told Sky Sport Italia before Udinese-Juventus.

“What we achieved was an history record, unique in Serie A and practically unique on the world stage too.

“Congratulations to Inter, it is a thoroughly deserved Scudetto and we tip our hats to them.”

The Bianconeri play a crucial game in Udine today and can leapfrog Napoli who picked up a 1-1 draw against Cagliari.

“Regardless of other results, we have to focus on our own game and getting the result we want today.”

Paratici insisted Andrea Pirlo’s job is not at risk despite Juventus results this season.

“I speak to Pirlo every day, several times a day, so there was no need to discuss anything different from the usual.”

He also shared his thoughts on the Luis Suarez case after this week’s developments.

“My position has not changed. I will speak once the investigation is all over. As for Andrea’s comments, he was very clear on how the club runs. I do have the full mandate to take care of transfer issues, so there’s nothing unusual.”
