The Bianconeri are in Group G with Barcelona, Ferencvaros and Dynamo Kiev.

“We are happy to get this Champions League campaign started, as it has always been the tournament everyone enjoys the most,” the director told JTV.

“We expect a great performance and to bring home the victory. I’d like to see what we usually see from Juve: confidence, character, and we’ll even have something of a crowd this evening, which is a nice surprise.”

There are 15,000 fans allowed into the stadium in Kiev, while Juventus are fortunate to make this trip in October rather than December, when conditions would be more difficult.

“Dynamo Kiev is a team full of interesting young players and many of them faced us in the UEFA Youth League,” continued Paratici.

“The Champions League always gives you an extraordinary sensation and even the journey is special, you see it in the faces of the players and the staff. The Champions League is different.”
