Sampdoria captain Angelo Palombo insists that his side has what it takes to keep Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic quiet this weekend.
Milan have risen to the top of the table partly because of their dependence on Ibrahimovic who has scored 11 goals in 17 games in all competitions.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport in anticipation of Sampdoria's clash with Milan, Palombo said: "Let's say that I am now ready.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport in anticipation of Sampdoria's clash with Milan, Palombo said: "Let's say that I am now ready.
"After the game against Parma I couldn't walk [because of injury]. In effect the scans have confirmed that I had been carrying this injury for at least two months.
"Football teaches you that there are moments in which you can do everything and moments in which you can't do anything at all."
Asked if he thought Ibrahimovic would have such an impact on his return to Italy, Palombo said: "Honestly, yes. Even last year at Barcelona he scored a lot of goals over the course of the season.
"I knew that at Milan he would be in a position to repeat his form at the highest level even amongst the many champions they have. He is capable of doing one phase of play completely on his own. I also like him as a person.
"I have spoken to Zlatan only a few times, but I had good sensations."
