James Pallotta denies all rumours of arguments with Coach Rudi Garcia or director Walter Sabatini.

Reports had been circulating of a Giallorossi summit which involved the discussion of a possible successor to Garcia and a dumbing down of Sabatini's responsibilities.

The Coach was allegedly accused of showing a lack of faith in his recent interviews, while the sporting director's transfer market activity was under scrutiny.

Speaking to Roma Radio, Pallotta emphatically brushed away all of these rumours.

“I read the papers and I don't understand these senseless articles,” he said. “Rudi is our Coach and I haven't spoken with anyone but him.

“Earlier this week we discussed how to help each other to improve Roma.

“We hired a new medical staff team that is working very well.

“Yesterday [board members Walter] Sabatini, [Italo] Zanzi, [Mauro] Baldissoni and [Frederic] Massara had dinner with us and were being updated on the work we were doing.

“They were all very impressed with how far ahead we were."

The American tycoon was also asked about the rumours on an alleged argument between him and Sabatini.

“That's made up too. We both want to improve and we take decisions together because we are a team. Raising one's voice when discussing some topics is simply part of the job.

“On the rumours that Alex Zecca is meant to oversee Sabatini, it's the stupidest thing that's been written since I've started as President.

“Zecca never had an administrative position like Baldissoni and Zanzi. He's creating a statistical database on all of the world's players so he can support Sabatini and Massara.

“As for the future, I'm certainly very passionate when it comes to Roma.

“I want to win all the time, but what we're doing is to improve the team.

“The second part of the season was challenging. The main thing is understanding in which areas we can improve.

“People in Trigoria aren't happy about the second half of the season, Garcia least of anyone.

“On the 15th [of this month] I'll be in Rome and I'll be giving a Press conference to clarify all of these situations.

“If you speak with Rudi and you ask him how Monday went, he'll tell you everything's just fine. We discussed our transfer strategy yesterday with Sabatini.”
